Electrical Maintenance Skills - Part 2
Course No: 104 - 4 Days; £725.00
The value of a maintenance operative who can safely isolate electrical supplies in order to carry out basic unsupervised electrical maintenance work, such as motor and pump changing, is now recognised as a critical asset in today's competitive markets. When combined with suitable in-plant consolidation of training, this course will assist employers in meeting the legal requirements for employee-competency when working on electrical systems.
Who is the course aimed at?
The structure and content of the course builds on Electrical Maintenance Skills - Part 1, (Course No 103). It is aimed at those fulfilling a maintenance role who as part of their normal routine, are required to work on electrical equipment and are required to safely isolate, disconnect, test and replace single and three-phase motors or similarly driven devices.
Course Presentation
The course has an extensive 'hands on' element, placing emphasis on safe working practice and on the development of useful and essential practical skills and understanding. Comprehensive course notes are provided.
